this is super awesome! Would love it if it became even more fleshed out and polished as a full game.

This is amazing! I'm not sure if this is the same for everyone, but once I unsuccessfully deliver a package, it no longer gives me options for other countries.

Bro, this is already one of the best games I ever played! So much fun!

can anyone tell me how to download the game step by step?

:D

Hello Sebastian,
Been trying to reach you. I work for Catheon Gaming and we are looking to partner with game developers. I am very fond of your work and think there is a huge opportunity. Please get back to me at dominick@catheongaming.com .

Hahhaha the "blockchain" developers are everywhere now

everything looks kinda shitty ngl, nfts suck :D

Surprisingly fun to play with a friend, desperately trying to explain to me where New Zeeland is:)

I would honestly love to play this, but i have a frickin chromebook :(

Really clean and aesthetically pleasing! I know it's still very early and a WIP, but currently using an AZERTY keyboard WASD controls are wonky and can't even select 1, 2, 3. I'd very much like to try the "full gameplay" but I'll have to wait for better keyboard support and/or remapping capability.

Are you running Windows? AZERTY can easily be replaced with QWERTY mapping with Alt+Shift. Just check that QWERTY is an available layout.

For the 1, 2, 3, I assume you have no numpad. You can CAPSLOCK, it works fine. Alternatively, many laptops feature a numlock option, which should work too (generally "fn+num lock", with numbers written in blue on the keys).

Running on macOS here. This is a definitely a workaround, I'll give the game a go this way! However I do believe that having the ability to remap would be actually quite simple to implement.

Also while navigating works without changing the keyboard layout, I could not select the delivery because on an AZERTY keyboard you have to use Shift to use the numbers, and on macOS the default layout for AZERTY keyboards does not allow to use numbers when using Caps Lock but gives capitalised accented letters instead. Of course I can also change my keyboard layout, but that's not really convenient.

Yeah totally agree, having the ability to remap would be best! That's all we can hope ^^

you should have a exploration book where you unlock locations on a book kinda like the plane game on the old wii sports resort and you can go back over the book and see places you delivered too and your record of how close you where with the delivery

It says
Windows Protected Your PC
This app may put your PC at risk blah blah blah
Should I still run it?

(+1)

yes it's fine, it just doesn't have any registered publishers, it's a waste of time, he didn't do it.

Maybe I am stupid, but I am pressing space bar and 1,2,3 and could never drop anything, even I was flying through the fkin France 2 min :D

Great concept, I love geography. Would by nice to get some points and list where you dropped your stuff or some time limit kinda mode.

(+1)

it's the f key lmao

(+1)

learned it the hard way

(+4)

perhaps drones could be an enemy/obstacle.

granted that may add the requirement for a story, but IF needed, some dystopian future where some package company has taken over, you are a resistant pilot or maybe just some small startup.

maybe if you continue your build yo can have different iterations.

deliver power machine piece to country/town makes it so it will now light up.
different weather things can add the need for certain paths.

though if you're just going for an open world sort of flying fun game then none of that backstory is required. either way its an awesome game

Very enjoyable game, I would suggest allowing 3 packages per attempt before revealing the final location.

Looks very nice :)

cool

(+1)

Very nice. Fly around the world and deliver Xmas gifts.

(+1)

The game could do with a little compass or atleast north indicator. Doesnt break the no hints atmosphere as you still can orientate yiurself at sime places

This one is really good! Better than I expected.

(+1)(-1)

How to drop the load?

(-1)

Hi
Watched several of the videos on you showing your Game Off

my only problem is I am lousy at geographical location
I do not know
A pointer to ware a package needs to go would be nice to have

Thank you

That's literally the point of the game though xD
It's like a Geo-guesser

(+1)

The project is now on github! You can edit it any way you want.

great game

(+3)(-1)

Much harder for the kid (and for me) than I thought.

I would appreciate difficulty setting so that he doesn't get deterred by initial difficulty.

Countries only, daytime only would be great for kids.

Deleted post

Look in the "About" section in the main menu.

WSAD, Shift (speed up) and Space (drop goods).

1,2,3 to pick a country to deliver goods.

(+1)(-1)

This was a great idea, and a fun little game!

I  hope you'll do your source release on Github or Gitlab; I have a feeling this could become quite a fun and educational open source project if you wanted it to.

Yes, I know; I'm asking specifically about releasing on Github or Gitlab versus just a zipfile.

he'll release, it says in the video

I got full marks in geography exam. Greetings from Turkey.

Some good additions could be a compass, so that you don't get lost as easily, and a spotlight at the bottom of the plane so that it is a little easier to see where you are at night for the dimly lit places.

(+1)

yooooo it finally released!! i have been waiting for this to release! I've been watching all the devlogs and could tell this was gonna be a good game!

(+6)

I have some feedback for You Sebastian.

First, most important, thing - the game is just AMAZING!!!

On things that need fixing:

-my 21:9 monitor had some issues in main menu - full screen/windowed toggle was entirely hidden behind "back" button

-during flight, the pause menu was hard to read, letters were gray and behind them were thin white stripes.

-add some minecraft-alike music to it!

-a compass is in order

-maybe add a noctovision in the night? In some places during the night it is completely dark

Good luck and have a good day sir!

Add other planes that fly freedom

(+2)

I think it would be great if the citys you already missed would appear the whole time so you could actually learn where they are or somethin'

(-7)

Downloading is not very easy

(+11)(-2)

its bc of all the pron on your pc

(1 edit) (+3)

i am just asking,

HOW

isn't it easy

come on man you just need to click 2 buttons

3, but ye, lmfao

nice

Good stuff. Awaiting to see more developed version.

Also, slowing down the airplane when doing flyover would be useful as well as some kind of map (I am sure that is already on your list).

(-5)

can anybody help me with downloading this game

(+4)

Click on the BIG red download button which says "Download Now" on it with white text

and then click the really visible gray link which says "No thanks, just take me to the downloads"

(-1)

it doesn't work for me on MacOS Catalina 10.15.6

(-1)

Follow these steps -

(-1)

Doesn't work on macOS Monterey 12.0

perfect

(+3)

Amazing! Love it.

It ran with itch.io on my standard M1 Mac Air with 8Gb RAM quite well. Just had some minor FPS drop now and then.

I just had the same issue as mentioned by other of the destinations UI disappearing after the first package was delivered. But the world you created is such a joy to view. I would love to slow down, enjoy the view, learn about countries/cities. Maybe even the stars.

the game is great, but I would turn down the exaggeration a bit because when you fly over like Hawaii it just looks bad and not very much like a largely visited holiday island

(+2)

so beautifull great job and your videao are so cool
